Pet Rats

Most people think rats are gross, disgusting and pesky animals. Some people might think that because rats are very smart and

 intelligent. If they have there mind set on doing something they will try their hardest, specially involving food. So pests sometime

 for some people but not me, I have fourteen rats and they are all very smart.                                              

.                                                                                                                                The first rat I owned was a mistake (in a good way) I bought it for my snake and my snake was shedding so she wouldn't eat him.                                                                                                                    

 so two weeks later I tried  again and the rat got to big. So I was stuck with him. little did I know this rat was going to be my best

 friend for three years. I  kept him in a cage beside my bed and took him out every afternoon when I got home from school. I

 grew so attached to him and he grew attached to me even more. I named him Noie and it got to the point were I felt bad putting

 him in the cage. I would put him in and he would get so upset. Jumping ,scrapping and chewing at the window for me to open the

door. So I couldn't leave him a mess like that I let him out and he leaps onto my shirt and pulled himself onto my shoulder. We got

 rid of the cage and made an area for him to sleep and be his messy self. He would start out sleeping  there and some how wined

 up beside my. I was always so afraid I would squish him at night because I wasn't sure when he got there he was just there in the

 morning. Noie also would go up stairs and sit on my moms lap while she drank her coffee. He was a part of our whole family.
